Fraudulent Applications
Providing false and misleading information, or bogus documents to support your Queensland nomination application, is not tolerated and has serious consequences.
All incidents of fraud found by Migration Queensland will be disclosed to the Australian Department of Home Affairs, which may impact your Expression of Interest (EOI).
The Australian Department of Home Affairs has a page dedicated to Public Interest Criterion (PIC) 4020, which outlines:
- What false and misleading information or bogus documents mean
- How it works in terms of being provided with an opportunity to comment
- What the ultimate consequences may be if fraudulent information is provided as part of a visa application.
