Uchenna Lawrence Ezedinma

Uchenna Lawrence Ezedinma

From Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Uchenna first moved to Queensland in 2017 as a student. He chose to continue with his professional career in Queensland because of the opportunity to collaborate with leading world experts and access to cutting edge technology.

After attaining his master’s in public health, Uchenna now works at Brain Treatment Centre Australia as a Medical Technician and the University of the Sunshine Coast as a PhD candidate.

Uchenna’s achievements in Queensland extend well beyond his academic and professional career. His proudest accomplishment has been contributing to organising a new symposium in the Moreton Bay region.

Uchenna continues to be involved in his local community and is currently the Assistant Social Director of the Nigerian Community Association of Queensland. He is also a member of the Zonta Club of Caboolture - and a Chaplain for the Queensland Corrective Services.

Uchenna’s path to permanent residency in Australia was supported by Migration Queensland’s nomination for a Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190).
