Business Innovation and Investment Program – Closed
From July 2024, the Australian Government has permanently closed the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) (subclass 188) visa program to new applicants.
The Department of Home Affairs has allocated 1,000 places for BIIP in the FY24-25. Applicants who have lodged a 188 visa can wait for a decision, or request a refund from September 2024. For more information, please visit The Department of Home Affairs Wesbite.
Migration Queensland will continue to process applications for the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) (subclass 888) visa and 188 visa extension requests.
