Registration of Interest (ROI)
Registration of Interest - Skilled
Migration Queensland requires all skilled visa candidates to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) to indicate your interest in Queensland nomination. Please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) on SkillSelect prior to submitting an ROI.
The information provided in your Queensland ROI and your EOI will be used to select candidates for Queensland invitation.
To register for Queensland nomination for Skilled and Small business owner visas.
Candidates can have only one ROI at a time, even if you have multiple skills assessments or multiple passports. If you submit multiple ROIs, only your most recent ROI will be considered.
Candidates must choose one EOI, visa subclass and occupation for consideration.
If your information in your ROI has changed, for example your employment situation, you can submit a new ROI with updated details. Only the most recent ROI will be used for selection. Candidates do not need to inform Migration Queensland of a new ROI submission.
If candidates update their ROI they do not need to submit a new EOI, as long as that EOI was created on or after 13 September 2024.
Ensure that your EOI is always up to date. Each selection round, your ROI data will be matched to your latest EOI information.
If you are selected for invitation, you will be asked for evidence of the answers provided in your ROI. Providing false or misleading information may result in your application being closed.
If you are applying under the Queensland Graduate or Skilled worker in Queensland pathway, your annual salary is one of several factors used to determine whether you will be selected and invited to apply for Queensland nomination.
If your answers are not provided correctly, or if the answers do not match the data in your EOI, your ROI will be invalid.
