Fraudulent Applications
Providing false and misleading information or bogus documents to support your Migration Queensland nomination application is not tolerated and has serious consequences.
All incidents of fraud uncovered by Migration Queensland will be disclosed to the Department of Home Affairs (HA).
The Department of Home Affairs has a page dedicated to Public Interest Criterion (PIC) 4020 which outlines:
- what false and misleading information or bogus documents mean;
- how it works in terms of being provided with an opportunity to comment, and;
- what the ultimate consequences may be if fraudulent information is provided as part of a visa application.
