Genevieve O'Sullivan

From Dublin, Ireland, Genevieve’s journey to settling in Queensland started with a short stint of work in Hervey Bay, where she fell in love with Queensland’s weather and natural beauty. 

Working as a Registered Critical Care and Emergency Nurse, Genevieve’s exciting career in Queensland has included time working in Far North Queensland and shifts in metro hospitals on the Gold Coast. 

Migration Queensland nominated Genevieve for a Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) in 2020, which enabled her to gain some incredible experiences working across all corners of Queensland.

Since settling in the Gold Coast, Genevieve continues to enjoy spending time at the beach each day and has recently purchased her first home. Genevieve’s top tip for everyone migrating to Queensland is to not hesitate and start the process as soon as possible.
