Find a migration agent

An Australian registered migration agent (RMA) is qualified to assist you with your visa application and must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) to legally work in Australia.

Registered migration agents have a MARN number, and the first two numbers indicate the year they were registered to work as an RMA.

It is a good idea to do your research when searching for a suitable registered migration agent. Recommendations through friends, family, or other applicants can also be helpful.

Note: As of 22 March 2021, solicitors (Australian legal practitioners) no longer appear on the OMARA. However, Australian legal practitioners are able to assist with migration applications and with the Administrative Appeals (AAT) process. To find an Australian legal practitioner, go to the Queensland Law Society website.
