Migration Queensland Events – 2021 and Upcoming Events 2022

Migration Queensland Events – 2021 and Upcoming Events 2022

Migration Queensland participated in a number of face-to-face events and webinars in 2021.

Migration Queensland staff supported over 20 business migration webinars hosted by onshore and offshore migration agencies since 1 July 2021. These webinars have attracted audience sizes from a small number of over 10 attendees to a staggering number of over 11,000 attendees during the live online broadcast.

Some of the face-to-face events at end of year 2021 included an Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Event at Morgans where Greg McKean, Manager of Migration Queensland, was a keynote speaker. The focus was on business settlement and how to successfully set-up a business, manage finances and successfully integrate into the business community in Queensland. Marney Richardson also presented on the 491 – Small Business Owners Pathways at the end of November at an event organised by Hola Networking.

Migration Queensland is organising an invitation only roadshow for Queensland business migrants currently onshore in June 2022, for those looking for export and investment opportunities in the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay areas. If you have any HNWI clients looking to invest at least $500,000 to $3 million in regional Queensland, and who may be interested in attending this event, please email migration@qld.gov.au, and we will consider including them in the EOI for the event.

Future Migration Queensland organised events, and events at which we will be participating in, will be advertised here.
