Migration Queensland Website Navigation and Special Features

Migration Queensland Website Navigation and Special Features

Migration Queensland launched a brand-new website in October last year, which we hope you have had an opportunity to explore.

The best way to navigate the website for first point of call is through the homepage. Instead of one message board to update whether a Migration Queensland program is open or closed, and key criteria, we have now divided this up into 3 distinct pages on the homepage which clearly focus on each program – business, skilled, and 491-SBO pathway. Please click into each one of these tiles (shown below) for the most updated information on each program.

In conjunction to this, Migration Queensland suggest you go in regularly to check the News page – as the most up-to-date news and announcements are published here, including the current status on processing offshore applications as an example.

We now have an Events page where upcoming events by Migration Queensland, Trade and Investment Queensland, and other events Migration Queensland will be speaking at will be posted. This includes face-to-face and virtual events. Upcoming events for 2022 will be posted soon (so stay tuned!)

Finally, if you haven’t already requested to join the Migration Agent Portal, we encourage you to do so. This portal is a dedicated space for Australian Registered Migration Agents and Immigration Lawyers. It includes Migration Queensland News, Media (Queensland specific images, and Migration Queensland images you can use in promoting the Queensland state nomination program), a presentation download option, and a quick access page to fact sheets which summarize Migration Queensland business and skilled visa options.

If you need to contact us, we have now switched to an electronic process through Contact us. Please select “ I am a Migration Agent/Solicitor” and we will respond to your email within 48 hours.
