Investor Retirement (Temporary) visa (subclass 405) renewal

To apply to renew a 405 visa, contact Migration Queensland and supply the following details:

• your full name
• date of birth
• current visa expiry date.

Migration Queensland will forward you all the necessary documents to lodge a renewal application.

Pathway to permanent residence

The pathway to permanent residence for retirement visa holders, announced by the Australian Government as part of the 2018–19 Budget, commenced on 17 November 2018.

You may be eligible to apply for permanent residence, if you were granted your 405 visa before 8 May 2018.
